Barcellona ospita 50 Top Pizza Europa 2023 e Pizza Week del 2 al 6 maggio
La classifica 50 Top Pizza Europa 2023, le 50 migliori pizzerie d’Europa per il 2023, sarà annunciata il 3 maggio presso l’Auditorio MGS (Entença, 335) di Barcellona.
È la prima volta che questa classifica firmata 50 Top Pizza, guida più influente al mondo, viene svelata nella capitale catalana.
La classifica 50 Top Pizza Europa 2023 fa parte della guida Europa, che comprende un totale di 150 pizzerie in 25 paesi europei. Le pizzerie elencate oltre la posizione 50 sono valutate “Pizzerie Eccellenti”.
Barbara Guerra, Albert Sapere e Luciano Pignataro, curatori di 50 Top Pizza, hanno sottolineato in conferenza stampa la loro “enorme gratitudine alla città di Barcellona per l’incredibile accoglienza che abbiamo ricevuto“, dal momento in cui hanno deciso di tenere la cerimonia di premiazione della classifica europea nella capitale catalana.
Anche il pizzaiolo Peppe Cutraro, in vetta alla classifica per due anni consecutivi e numero 3 in 50 Top Pizza World, ha ricordato da Barcellona quanto sia stato importante per la sua pizzeria – Peppe Pizzeria – ottenere il primo posto in 50 Top Pizza Europa. “Questo titolo ha dato un senso a tanti anni di sacrifici. Mi ha permesso di vivere in prima persona cosa significa avere successo nel proprio lavoro. Oltre all’innegabile riconoscimento internazionale come pizzaiolo, vorrei sottolineare anche il supporto al commercio, al lavoro di squadra e alla gestione aziendale. Il valore e la sicurezza che dà un primo posto è indiscutibile”. Quest’anno, Peppe Pizzeria non sarà presente in classifica, visto che ha appena aperto una quinta pizzeria e il suo brand sarà valutato nella classifica dedicata alle catene di pizzerie artigianali, 50 Top World Artisan Pizza Chains.
Pizza Week in 14 pizzerie
In occasione della premiazione di 50 Top Pizza Europa 2023, 13 pizzerie di Barcellona e una di Sant Cugat parteciperanno, dal 2 al 6 maggio, a Pizza Week – Barcelona Edition 2023, una settimana dedicata alla pizza, promossa in collaborazione con Mammafiore, con proposte che non si limiteranno solo al campo della pizza, ma che coinvolgeranno anche importanti chef come Paolo Casagrande (Lasarte) e Rafa Peña (Gresca), cocktail maker come Giacomo Giannotti (Paradiso) e persino pasticceri di Barcellona come Christian Escribà e Saray Ruiz.
Irene Carboneras, Marketing Communication Manager di Mammafiore, ha ringraziato 50 Top Pizza per aver scelto Barcellona per celebrare questo evento e “per aver promosso il Pizza Week con l’obiettivo di sostenere la diversità e la creatività del panorama gastronomico nella città in cui siamo nati”.
